According to what I have observed, the centre requires more competent and effective staff. The staff lacks the ability to distinguish between "an update" and "a change" which is very frustrating. If you challenge them, they direct you to the Mangalore/Bengaluru passport office. For someone who is looking for modifications and chances in their passport, I would advise them to avoid going to this passport service facility, instead visit the passport office in Mangalore, where you can find a passport officer who can assist with solving issues with your passport. I am giving this facility 2 stars, despite them being affable in my experience, they lacked the perception, which is quite upsetting. Note: My review is specific to update/modifications/renewals only.

Good Service. Especially the Staff ( 2 ladies) having good knowledge , co operative and assists clearly and politely. May have to wait for hours due to many applications so better to keep a day with no other plans. Not as crowded as Mangalore office. Processing time could be improved by adding more staff. So that each appointment gets done within the estimated time.

First of all i request to India ministry to close this barmavar passport office so that no one go there and get f.u..k ..if you close bermavar office people will go directly to Mangluru.Never take any old person bermavar. There is no sufficient sitting arrangements.Keep on rejecting documents without any reason.This office designed itself to harass the people. They want less people or no one come there. Around 25 applicants I saw in front of me. Each and every one documents rejected for silly reason. Secondly I request to Google to add new option so that i can give negative stars to bermavar passport kenra.

Worst experience ever..! Staffs in this office really need basic training and they always find reasons to send applicants home at their first and second schedule. And for 3rd schedule, applicants are expected to spend whole day either in passport office or Brahmavara bus stand xerox shop, lol :)

Very bad experience..went for passport renewal..the staff are irresponsible and not polite at all..they don’t have patience..they behave as if it is their own office..No higher officials to listen as well..the state of the passport office is pathetic…they made me to wait more than a hour whereas I was on time on my appointment..then asked to me reschedule though I had my documents ready….then I booked an appointment the next day in mangalore passport office ..I loved the service there..it took hardly 15 mins for the renewal process..So people who want to book an app,please book in mangalore office

Had a decent experience. Location is right above the post office near to bus stand. Passport related formalities were quick and staff were very cooperative. There is no parking available. One has to park in the narrow road besides the post office. Not as crowded as mangalore passport office.

Quick service, officials will resolve issues quickly and the place is clean. This is in brahmavara( near the bus stand) even though it is called as POPSK Udupi. The passport office is on the first floor and the ground floor is the post office. If you want a photocopy for your passport, there are photocopy shops nearby.

Recently I did my verification here. The staff member are so helpful that my verification process went smoothly and completed within 15 minutes (if your documents are correct). 10th marks card and Aadhaar card main (Take extra identity card if it necessary)... Your name and father name should be match on both of these documents. And thank you to both the verification officer for kind response.

MOST IMPORTANT ****** If you have to print the Aadhar card, please ensure that it is a VERIFIED copy. You can verify by just clicking a couple of times on the question mark on your computer screen, just before shooting a print.This feature is available only in a computer AND NOT ON MAADHAR APPLICATION. Picture is attached. Otherwise, please be ready to spend Rs.30 for a print from a computer center at the Brahmavar bus stand.

Located on the service road of the highway. Opposite the MESCOM office, attached to the Post Office. Parking is on the side of the road. Officers & staff are very friendly and will guide you appropriately. It took me all of 10 mins to complete my passport re-issue process, since I was the only applicant present there on the day. Photocopy shops are located close by near the bus stand.

Office seems very basic but work will be done quickly. More seating arrangement required in the waiting area. Also dedicated parking space for customers would be nice.

I've been here for my renewal & address change, location is easy to find, place is a small office at first floor, neat & tidy, no security check nor token system, they will call your name, when your turn arrives as per appointment time. Now coming to the process, staff is decent and will explain things clearly and if any concerns, will suggest accordingly. One thing to Note is the xerox copies which we submit must be PERFECT, if not legible or unclear, even slightly, they will reject it, so they suggest you to get another xerox and also advice you the xerox shop name, i. E, Nearby bus stand, Keerthy lodge, Shabari Xerox, best is to get all your xeroxes done from there and then go for appointment. Wearing formals is advised, it will take not more than 30 min for entire process

-Get here on appointment time only as processing time for each person depends on one's documents, so be prepared to wait. -If all docs are in hand, processing takes less time (3-5 minutes for me) as staff are efficient. -Don't expect them to answer landline calls as they are working full-time. Their work eases at early evening - 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m....call at that time. -Drinking water facility is there. Private room is available for mothers and babies. -Parking for bikes is available but for cars not available. -Xerox machine, AC, TV, Toilet and electronic counters would have been helpful.

Passport seva Kendra is situated near brahmavar bus stand.this is only passport verification office available in Udupi district. This is small office consists of two verification officers. If want to apply fresh or renewal you have to first apply online pay online and choose an appointment date to ur nearest passport office Kendra. If you apply appointment in Udupi (Brahmavara) then you are not worried to wait ...the appointment may get on day after you apply . Here passport verification are done by two officers. First you have to bring all original documents for verification For fresh- Docs- Aadhar for address proof Birth certificate for age proof SSLC original marks card Bank pass book /ration card/ For minor - Docs- Birth certificate and address proofs are enough For renewal- Docs- Old passport, original Self-attested photocopy of: The first two and last two pages ECR/Non-ECR page Page of validity extension (if any) Page of observation (if any) made by Passport Issuing Authority No Objection Certificate (NOC)/Prior Intimation Letter (PI) Loss/stolen passport/damaged beyond recognition: Proof of Date of Birth Proof of present address Police report in original Affidavit stating how and where the passport got lost/stolen/damaged No Objection Certificate / Prior Intimation Letter

Nice place walkable distance from bramhavar bustand .there is less que here when compared to udupi post office passport seva kendra . It is easily visible from the main road Staff is also good . cooperative. But Xerox facility is not available here you have to go to bustand if you need Xerox or photocopy service. Toilet facilities also not available for the applicant.
