In reception at night ( check in time) the receptionist was sleeping while we entered. It took us 20 minutes to wake him up. A non professional guy is handling the reception at night. his behaviour was pathetic. Room - We took two single Room. it was Unhygienic. very disappointed. Timing - it was good. In reception at Morning ( check out time) - this time we faced a female receptionist & she was good. this time we faced a female receptionist & she was good in terms of her works. she presentable & well mannered but she should know that how to communicate with guest. Food & Service - it was nice. Tea was awesome. Hope you guys take it positively.

A Four star hidden hotel in a category of two star hotel. Near by market, Situated on first floor. Restaurant is not available here, but you can find nearby famous resturants and road side hygiene food on thela. Bed is neet and clean. Staff is good. and cheapest hotel I found in Jorhat. Near to Railway station around Two Kms. Shopping mall and major big shops are also nearby with this hotel.

I had already booked from oyo but after going to hotel they asked me for extra money and i gave extra rs 1400 to them,this is not good for coustomer.I really had a very very bad experience in first time😟

Not good experience.. because....the hotel asked extra 1000 for me...I don't know why they took extra charge...I book the hotel in oyo apps and pay the fees in upi method...when I reached the hotel..they said ,I will pay extra 1000 ruppees ....When I paid the money then they permission to entered the room...I don't know, these are under rules and regulations of oyo..but after it I don't want to go oyo hotel next time. And I advise other to not go the Golden Orchid in Jorhat..

Never Ever vist this place, its a nightmare in terms of room quality vs price. The person Maina da is so greedy of money that he instantly changes the price seeing people in distress. We got booking of 2 adults + 1 child (15) years for Rs 1400+, which he in person says couldn't be afforded as per his law. He charged us Rs 1800 out of blue and service quality is worst than stinky. I have images but don't want to upload as want to give him a chance to learn some professionalism.

The manager was a ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE guy.. After booking, when I called the property to ask whether I can pay the money online or not, that guy strictly denied me.. He told me to pay the money in cash.. While paying online, I was getting a good discount, still I let that discount go, to keep the manager's perspective.. I booked the hotel for my exams, and the day I arrived the hotel for check in, that guy clearly denied me to check in.. He said that the property was house full despite, me having booked the property 18 days ago.. I had no other way but to search for other property with hefty rates, becoz I had exam.. So I request guest not to book this property, as the person managing it is a PROFESSIONAL CREEP...

Very bad service. We got there early but the person in charge said that we were not suppose to check in before 12 and they said that we were not suppose to enter before 12. What kind of service is that. Moreover all the room were dirty and unoccupied. So atleast they can allow us to stay but no. Moreover the property is also not good.
