Worst experience ever. All the staffs are so rude & uneducated. Besides that, they don’t do their works in a proper way. They will make you stand for 2 to 3 hours straight & when we request them to atlest try to do their work a little faster then they’re gonna yell at you saying, they’re also not just sitting & playing here. Like dude I’ve been standing here for straight 3 hours without even having my breakfast, lunch nothing, getting late for my class & you’ve been gossiping with the other staffs & when I just requested him (the staff) to do it quick he started yelling at me & more of it, the other lady staffs joined in. And also what happens next is so funny, he denied to accept my packages all because it was their lunch break & I’ve been standing there watching him for straight 3 hours just to leave his chair & go ahead for his lunch break 😭. But I swear Im gonna go for some other post office from now. Good for them that all of them are working hard together.

The rudest people work here .. especially the postmaster. I was waiting in a line. They tried to speak Bengali, probably thinking I would understand, the post master said to another employee there to leave the counter and go, and if we ask or do anything they will make us leave and lock the doors so that we can't return.. How can someone holding a public office have this level of decency is beyond me. She did try to shoo me away, refusing me the service this office was build to provide in the first place. Its a shame Government institutions have stooped this low.

This is the review about Speed Post service from and to Guwahati. It is extremely slow and crosses the 4-5 days delivery standard of India Post. If you book an article from this post office it takes 4-5 days to dispatch from Guwahati to the destination city and more than 10 days to delivery. I have found only one day difference in delivery time for a speed post and a registered post for the same destination. If you want to cut short time within Guwahati then book the article directly at GPO instead of local PO such as this one in Dispur. The attitude of people on job is non-committed and they do not care about customers waiting in line. The person who books the article makes the customers wait while he attend personal calls or talks to others in office for non customer related issues.

Worst customer service ever. They don't care about the people. I went there at 3:30pm but they closed there service before 3:30 pm. When they should close there service at 5pm. When i told them it is emergency. They blamed me for coming late. Even they told me to go another post office. I should've read the reviews before going. THEY PUTTING GOVERNMENT A BAD NAME.
