penugolanu post office is not less than a century old. It was started in the British empire as a branch post office and later elevated to a Sub-Post office in the Indin Government. Now it serves in the surrounding villages of seven or something as a main delivery office. When it was started as sub office it had the delivery bags from from chennai and Hyderabad along with Vijayawada. Now it is under the Nuzivid Head Office
