I had a very positive experience and very professional staff. The whole process got completed in 45 mins. There were no appointment slots in Kottayam and was a bit worried seeing all the negative reviews. But I was very impressed with the way they carried out the process . Keep all documents handy as it is their job to verify everything is error free

Worst passport office. The people there don't even know English or Malayalam. If they only speak Hindi, how can common people understand? Majority people in Kerala cannot speak Hindi and everything they say is unclear. They simply held back my application because apparently my Aadhaar card was not updated when it clearly was. Made me go back and forth many times. They don't even have a photocopy machine at their place. No system or order and they call people however they feel like it. Bad attitude of employees too. Around 90% of the people I met here said that they could not understand what these guys were saying.

Worst of the worst service center. Both the hindi walas don't know to speak with the customers in a respectful manner. I pity on their superiors who support them even after several complaints received. I went there for my passport service and they treated me as if am a beggar. Am a NRI for the past 12 years and working as a Management Executive in dubai. I wonder for me the treatment is like this and for others how could it would be ?? Calling others Aunty or uncle is not a way to address. If they continue like this then the result will be horrible. Also the way they speak is like ill treating way. Please advice or take strict actions ASAP.

Don’t visit this place if you don’t want to waste your time. I did my PCC here and my appointment was at 12:15. The whole process got over only at 4pm. They will just trouble you for no reason. I have don’t the same thing is another PSK in 20 minutes before without any hustle.

Please never take option as applying from here , these guys are so illiterate that , you will regret choosing poPSK chenganoor , u will definitely have to spend another 1500 again for new passport .Most of the people and cochin head office complaint about issue with not clear photographs , even your mom & dad cant recognize you , that type of rubbish fade , unclear photographs they take , i lost 1500 inr and my time

Had a worst experience there.The officials are very rough in their behaviour.I had to wait for around 4 hours which i could have done within seconds in Alappuzha.No proper sitting arrangements which is understood but the behaviour of officials is unforgivable.The head officials should take this in consideration.

One of the worst Passport offices I have been to, just because of the sadistic nature of one of the clerical staff working there... Being just arrogant is tolerable, but being ignorant about one's own job and then taunting that arrogance can be fatal for one's career. But another clerk here was considerate, efficient and helpful, hence the 2 star. Stay away from here for your passport needs. Better go to Alappuzha.

Unprofessional. This is a passport seva kendra one will never wish to visit again. Chengannur POPSK is located adjacent to head Post office at the very busy Chengannur Market road. Have just 3 staffs and they will make you run like anything. It's a chaos feeling inside. Just for a passport renewal, had to wait for 2 hours. They needed 2nd page of passport which is not at all important. Had to go out for a photocopy and wait another 1 hour for our turn. 1. No backup power in case of electricity failure. 2. All systems they use are outdated. The processing time is too long and to take a printout it takes minutes. 3. All copies required will be told to you while you apply online. But here they ask photocopies which are not relevant. In other passport offices they won't make you run like this. 4. Parking-If you come here by a 4 wheeler there is no parking available. Have to park your vehicle far away and walk. 5. ATM- There is an ATM just in front of passport seva kendra but won't dispense cash. So keep enough cash with you. Last time I went to kottayam office and it took just 15 minutes for renewal process and the staffs were very helpful. Passport offices at Alappuzha and Kottayam are far better compared to Chengannur.

Passport Seva Kendra Chenganoor is located in the premises of chenganoor head Post office. Parking is bit problematic here only few two wheelers and one or two four wheelers can park in the premises better find some space outside for parking.

I Never ever recommend here ..seriously trust me..they dont know what to do especially the guy sitting in A2 section he doesn't even know what to do..Dont even call on exact appointment time..They dont know how to systematically do work..i think allapuzha passport office is far more better than this..

I applied through passport seva portal and booked appoinment here.I came late but they are very supportive . Photograph and biometrics are taken there And its over Don't forget to take appointment acknowledgement receipt.Total time taken is around 15 minutes.And you Know what this is not over yet The next step is police verification. It depends on police how they proceed with this either they will come to your home or they will call you at the station.
