Worst post office. No power backup, staff kept us waiting whole day for doing a simple registered letter as there was no power in the area. The staff as well the post Master himself are very rude. This is not expected from any government employee. That is why the employees of its sisters company BSNL was sent on compulsory VRS.

This post office is the worst post office I have seen in india. The staff doesn’t want to deliver any parcel and simply send a “address not found” notification to you. This has happened with me twice for my registered parcels.

Whenever you get a feeling to experience the childhood black & white days when there was No mobile, no telephones, sometimes no electricity the days of 80's n 90's please go and visit this post office. The staff and facility will surely do their best to provide you that experience. Let's say you want to do a speed-post you might need to stand or wait there for half an hour to do it even if you are only person there. Next by any chance you think it's 21st century and you can pay the postage charges using digital payment options (Phone pay, G-Pay etc.) But wait remember what I said the staff will ensure that they will take to back in 80's they will not accept it with a reason that the payment will take 3 days to credit in Post office account. Now imagine our Prime Minister and his team is roaming across the world and praising our digital transformation however, the organisations like Post-Office is still handicapped and living in 90's. I don't know if there are any technical reasons behind it (although they are using BSNL Optical Fibre Network) or the staff is more reluctant to keep the records of online transactions. But indeed this branch has opened my eyes of this is the situation of Pune Post office imagine the conditions in rural areas.

They are so lazy that they send the parcel back without delivering it. On the website it marks that 'DOOR LOCKED' or 'unclemd'. No phone calls are made. One of my parcels was sent back like this. Tried to do the same for the second time but I messaged Indian Post's official Twitter (@indiaPostOffice) handle (DM) and complained there mentioning my order id. Then within a day my parcel was delivered. If this happens to someone, then you should go to the official Twitter handle of Indian Post and lodge a complaint. Hopefully it will work.

Absolutely u helpful People...I received a money order for one of my family member who was out of town .. since no one else can collect apart from her I asked them to return to the origin...after following up with them for 2 weeks post that the madam said she has returned it ..but it's been 3 weeks since then the other post office claims they have not received the money yet.... This post office people are not taking any responsibility for it and just telling the same thing that they have returned it .... It's alot of money which is lying nowhere now.... Absolutely pathetic people

Worst ever experience with India post office !! I am editing this review on same day due to altogether different experience with delivery person Rane ji … He kept his promise to deliver the item on time and he has an excellent attitude and behavior. I am increasing the review star only because of this person ! Thank you so much !!

My parcel arrived at post office on Friday (20th aug) but till writing this review I haven't received yet. I wamt there and ask them to handover the parcel to me but postman said that he put the parcel in the bag and it's difficult to take it back. He promised that he will deliver parcel on Monday but as usual which we can expect from a government employee, parcel not received yet. They are very irresponsible persons.

People at post office are help ful. Employee cannot do any thing about location or the looks or condition of the post office. as its the task of govt to take care of it.. It's our countries bad fate where physical mailing services of INDIAN POSTAL SERVICES Office of our country in majority of city and states looks not great. And really needs an improvement.. Many of the post offices do not have a proper safety measures.. Though govt has ample of land but they do not have the space for them.. Still its been rented out from private property. Our mailing services are the one which is since 1854. Govt should think and take steps to improve its status.. In a sofesticated way Indian postal services requires an upgradation... Jai Hind

receiving packages from this post office is always a challenge. 9 out of 10 packages are never delivered. the staff is also lazy and lackadaisical least bothered to help. Infact more often than not the post man actually calls you to the post office if you want the package, this is pre Covid and even now...really poor service and experience.

If there was negative star rating ...i wud gv a negative rating. Absolutely the worst services provided. I went to their branch atleast 6 times to get my address updated in Adhaar Card, Each time incomplete information was provided. after getting all documents in place and waiting patiently in que for hours, another PO employee cuts the line with 5 applications of his family members making everyone wait in line including senior citizens. And when the issue was raised, I was threatened to stay calm or to call the police. I am shocked by the behaviour and the treatment given by these government employees... To behave as they please and they think they are doing a great favour by doing their basic jobs. I would request everyone to raise these concerns so that this behaviour is stopped
