Awful experience...never ever apply passport from Alwar district post-office...there is a world surgeon conference in turkey on 9 November and my paper has been selected..I apply fresh passport on 1 September and my appointment date fix at post office on 18 September..I thought it's okay but bit late..then on 18th my documents submitted and they send file to RPO office Jaipur..day passes by but no progress started..so I take appointment to RPO Jaipur office and they informed me that nearly 20,000 passport application pending from Alwar due to unavailability of the staff..today till now my passport not been issued yet it's been stuck in so office and CID office Jaipur....don't know what to do to make things correct... although ministry of external affairs clearly mentioned that normal category fresh passport been issued with in 30 days..
