Post office staff who handle speed post can be a bit stingy, and they might not even provide you the information which they are supposed to even when you ask them. I guess Delhi's soaring temperature can do that to you. Although my postman was awesome, he knew everyone's house. Once I needed an important mail and I went to post office, he recognized me immediately (even though I did not know among 10 postmen which one was allocated to my Block) and got my mail.
