I have a sent speed post to AIIMS Deoghar, a prominent unambiguous location where thousands of letters must be delivered daily. The address was printed without any errors. Still my speed post is being redirected here and there with a comment "insufficient address". All contact numbers of concerned post offices available in Google, india post website and official India post app are either invalid or does not exist. What is the point in trusting India post when it is worse than any roadside local courier!!

Situated at the heart of Deoghar, here post office general services like letter, speed post, Registered post, mail services, postal order facility are available also post office saving bank facilities, Aadhar ATM, payment bank and parcel services are available here. The Post office is situated near to the Tower chowk and Deoghar police station. Aadhar services like updating mobile number linked with Aadhar, address change or any other service with respect to Aadhar is done here. Passport seva kendra is also situated inside the precincts of the Head Post office. At the end, service of the staff is also good and they are co-operative in nature.

Employees are Ok but their system is very slow. After deposit, the verification of the deposit takes almost 2 hours. So, basically you have to invest 3 hours in this branch. 1 hour for deposit 'cuz of crowd (if you go during peak hours) and 2 hours for verification and then you can get your passbook updated 'cuz their link is pathetic as other sarkari website. Also, you can get your passbook printed anytime if the link is available and when the post office is open. There is no 'before 2 PM' or 'after 3 PM' rule (that's just emplpyees managing their work load). Note:- deposit and withdrawal forms of RD, Savings Accounts, etc. is available at counter no. 5. Counter no 4- Head postmaster Counter no 3- Passbook updation and KYC Counter no 2- deposit and withdrawal of RD, Savings account, etc.

The parking space is limited. Cleanliness is not as good as should. The convenience like drinking water and urinal is not available. The sitting arrangements for senior citizens and others is very poor. The dealing with customer is not satisfied. Mostly customers waiting due to "LINK FAIL" The behaviour of staff are not helpful. It's a problem for a illiterate customer.
