I have never couriered any electronic appliances before in my life. I had to return a company laptop at the time of my resignation. I went to one of the trusted courier service there is, yes, DHL. First off, the store supervisor was least intrested to listen to what I wanted to courier and was least bothered to even look at me when he spoke. He started off with asking if I had few forms with me(E-way bill , etc) which I had to get and then come back. Now, clearly explaining him that I do not have any E-way bill as this is a company asset and showing them the old E-way bill the company had used, I asked them to help me. They unwrapped the parcel(laptop) I had, did not want to courier it as the laptop had battery left, now since I am no longer part of the company, I cannot login to drain the battery, I tried my best to explain them but again least bothered to even listen to me, he turned deaf ear and started working on something else. I understand them rejecting to courier it with battery leftover but, atleast try to be empathetic about it, this total lack of concern bothered me and I genuinely asked them to atleast listen to me. When I asked if I can get some approval to courier it, if he is not able to, then I asked him if I can speak to the manager. The Manager, explained it to me very calmingly and I agreed to somehow get the battery drained all the while not mentioning about the pathetic experience from the store supervisor. I asked them to return the package and I would think of a way to drain the battery, they did not even have a packing material to wrap it up again and they were least bothered to even explain that before they unwrapped it and lacked the concern to my disappointment. Most pathetic, disheartening, completely disappointed experience. I hope they do change their attitude and atleast provide some basic etiquette so that people would not have to bear this experience ever.
