This experience with DHL Express is the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had in my life. I sent every document and payment within hours or minutes. Resent the invoice twice. Sent payment which dhl lost track of and has to get my bank to provide proof. Still I was twice invoiced for a payment already made and a bonded warehouse fee added, as if it was my fault. I was forced to call nearly daily, had to accept erroneous over calculations on duties and pay anyway. After a full 28 days of empty promises and robotic cordiality that amounts to nothing I get the package. For this service I had to pay ₹15000 plus ₹31k in duties? 60,000 people in the organisation and this is the best you can do? Systemic failure, repeat. Pitiful. Shame on whoever says they are managing this disaster of what is called DHL Express.

The facility seems to have been made smaller (probably coz of Covid), but well functioning, neat and met a well-spoken service agent who answered my queries nicely, factually, so that you can form decisions well.

***** More details of DHL UK & DHL India's extremely unsatisfactory service ***** It took 75 Plus odd emails in total for this issue to be resolved. ( This issue/case almost cost the customers life )! & it took 15 different peoples email addresses to support the customer, and still DHL failed to meet a satisfactory service! There is no proper communication / no proper following up within the DHL ( World-Wide ). This is the worst terrible service the customer has ever experienced in the customers life! So much so, that this issue/case has affected the customers daily life very badly as this issue went on for more than a month.. the one month of mental torture, has changed the changed the customers life in an extremely negative way. The customer has wasted so much of the customers precious and valuable time on this issue, researching this issue / case and creating emails for this issue/case, which has given the customer so much stress which led the customer to being depressed. To have anxiety. Made the customer frustrated. the customer was unable to sleep. the customer lost control over the customers life as the customer was so tired of this issue that customer almost used ti fall asleep while the customer was driving. the customer was unable to focus and concentrate on the customers work. The customer lost a lot of money on the courses that the customer was studying as the customer couldn't follow and keep up with the studies due to all the stress that DHL put the customer through. This issue/case has been more than one month of mental torture for the customer. So much so, that this issue/case would have somehow led the customer to end the customers life in one way or another. *5a): At the time of booking the package at DHL in UK - EXPRESS Depot Office in Wembley UK: a) the declared value of the old and used second-hand laptop for the price of £ 250.00 GBP. b) In order to get Insurance on this package for the price of £ 250.00 GBP. { Just for the purpose, just in case, that is if the package was damaged in transit }. c) DHL in UK - EXPRESS Depot Office in Wembley UK service charges invoice value was for the price of £ 148.29 GBP. *5b): Now these below figures were manipulated by Indian Mumbai Customs and used to calculate the customs charges: a) Unit Price is calculated for the price of £ 250.00 GBP. ( This figure is correct ). b) Insurance is calculated for the price of £ 270.00 GBP. ( This figure is wrong { see above for correct figure } ). c) Invoice Value is calculated for the price of £ 250.00 GBP. ( This figure is completely wrong { see above for correct figure } ). ( Due to this the customer had to pay the price of heavily levied 77.5% Indian custom duties charges for an old and used, a second-hand laptop that was being sent as a GIFT to the end destination receivers for their personal use ). ( This is a fraud )! *6): The customer had mentioned in the signed Customs Letters from the customer that this was an old and used second-hand laptop ( 5 years old & also provided the receipt for the same ) and was for personal use, this old and used second-hand laptop was sent to India for personal use, so that the end destination receivers could have some variety; that is to browse the YouTube for various catholic prayer services, due to this corona lock-down to overcome boredom. (This package comes under the description as a GIFT & thus the customs duties should have been calculated differently ). ( This is a fraud )!

***** This is the detail report DHL’s extremely unsatisfactory service ***** *1): when booking in this package at DHL in UK , The booking desk should have professionally advised / suggested the customer about all these unwanted inconveniences & stress that the customer would have gone through for this past more than one month which has affected the customers life extremely dangerously! ( then the customer would not have sent the package to India at all, if the customer was suggested about this hectic procedures ). ( Misleading Customer - Fraudulent Services )! *2): Further issues would not arise if the package was sent in the correct mode! The package was sent incorrectly via COURIER MODE instead of CARGO MODE as explained by the EMPLOYEE of DHL in MUMBAI – INDIA. ( And due to this DHL in UK’s fault / mistake / error, the customer had to pay the price of heavily levied 77.5% Indian custom duties charges for an old and used, a second-hand laptop that was being sent as a GIFT to the end destination receivers for their personal use)! ( Fraudulent services )! *3): The customer raised a complaint at a very early stage to many of the the EMPLOYEES of DHL in UK & India asking to return the package back to the customer to the UK. But this could not be done! Because of this EMPLOYEE of DHL in MUMBAI – INDIA who had already checked in the package into Indian Customs without the Signed Customs Letter of Consent from the customer. Why & How did this EMPLOYEE of DHL in MUMBAI – INDIA check in the package into Indian Customs without receiving the Signed Customs Letter of Consent from the customer? ( Considering this above, the customer should not have paid any and all charges at all, as the customer had raised a complaint on time, before this issue/case went out of control, telling DHL in UK that this package needs to be returned back to customer to the UK, that is if DHL could not meet the requirements of delivering the package to the end destination to GOA - India without any hassle ). ( Fraudulent Services )! *4): DHL in UK & DHL India has indirectly forced the customer to type and sign the customs letter of consent, against the customers will, stating that the customer had no other choice. ( This would not have been possible if this EMPLOYEE of DHL in MUMBAI – INDIA had not checked in the package into Indian Customs without the customs letter of consent from the customer ). DHL in UK & DHL India Stated That: Either the customer signs the customs letter of consent, or, if not, then the Indian Mumbai Customs will treat the customers package as abandoned! So! the customer had to do it, as the customers stress was getting out of control and thus the customer wanted this issue/case to come to an end, as this issue could have taken the customers life, & also it was a matter of the end destination receivers being in boredom { the customer did not want any of it}. ( This is Black Mailing ).

Customer paid for services to deliver 1 package from this DHL Outlet ( the package was to be sent from UK to GOA - India )! The services of DHL ( UK & India ) was extremely unsatisfactory to the point where they have made the customer go through a lot of inconveniences & also have given the customer unwanted stress and stress related issues for over a month and the customer has ended up paying heavily levied Indian Customs duties all due to DHL in UK's fault / error / mistake! ***** This is the over-view of DHL’s extremely unsatisfactory service ***** *1) Not providing professional suggestions to customer & thus the customer ends up paying unnecessary extra Custom Duties, heavily levied by Indian Customs & the customer also ends up going through lots of inconvenience & stress related issues for over a month. ( Fraudulent Services )! *2) DHL in UK Sending the package in the wrong mode. ( Fraudulent Services ) *3) Tricking the customer. ( Fraudulent Services )! *4) Not leaving/giving a choice of options. ( Blackmailing )! *5) Turning a blind eye to Indian Mumbai Customs manipulating the figures to do wrong calculations in-order to heavily increase customs charges to be levied on the customer. ( Fraudulent Services )! *6) End up paying extremely high Indian Custom Duty Charges due to DHL sending the package in the wrong mode as Indian Customs then levies 77.5% Custom Duty on a second hand laptop which was supposed to be considered as a GIFT. ( Fraudulent Services ) !
