Had a very bad experience. Without even attempting passport delivery they returned it saying address not found the very same day. Did not even have the courtesy to wait 3 days and check if the person attempts to collect it. The lady there also teaches us weird laws when asked why they couldn't wait 3 days before returning it. It seems we have to inform the post office in writing that we have shifted to the said address when we move to a new city. Otherwise no delivery attempt will even be made. When told that even police department was able to confirm the address they shamelessly accuse the police people as bribe collectors and it's possible to get address confirmed by paying 500 rupees. These are the bunch of people that actually brings bad name to honest government officials working everywhere in our country.

Very cruel people. Went ther at 3.05 pm to sent a speed post. One staff told the person at speed post counter to sent our package. But the counter female was very adamant telling tht system time is passed 3 and she cannot. It was an emergency package. Had to give it to private courie res. Thts the reason why givernment firms are losing it to private companies...

Sanathanapuram Post Office is located just in front of the west gate of Kalarcode Temple. It currently occupies the ground floor of NSS Karayogam building. It is a small post office and I have seen it open around 5:15 pm on saturdays. Above the post office, there is a small auditorium which hosts Taekwondo classes in the evenings.
