Very Good services.. Both postal and banking work is done here. I have visited many times. A bit crowd is always to be found here for their needs. Most of the people visit for banking works. As less people is there for postal services so this work is done in a quick way.. I don't know much about the banking services, but the postal service is really good and appreciated. It is so fast. I have recently opened SB account here. I have requested for internet banking as well. Account creation takes few days, but it was good enough. A person named 'Surender' helped me a lot to understand process in P.O. Not only for me, he helped many people. Hats Off!! Aadhar Mobile number update also they are doing here. That person also very polite and good. they are doing in tues/wed/thurs around 1.30 to 2.30. I strongly recommend this post office. Good Experience. don't just believe on past bad reviews.

Went there to create IPPB mobile banking account. One staff sitting in counter didn't have patience to answer my query related to the account. Since I am new to post office related activities, I was lost as the staff didn't help me understand the difference between ebanking and IPPB and how to activate it. I came to know that the IPPB account creation is done by postman during lunch time 1:30pm. I went there at 1:30 and there were two postman (one man and a woman) sitting outside and handling many people effortlessly with IPPB account, mobile number updates etc. They were so fast and looked like a pro. My IPPB account got created and they helped in linking savings account it. They answered the queries I had. Kudos to them.

Post Office located after Pallikaranai Government High School, not in medavakkam. You need wait atleast 30 mins for deposit, for cash withdrawal if the amount is less than 50000 then you have to wait atleast for 1 hour. If you need withdraw more than 50000 you need to inform the post office before. You won't get on the same day. During rainy season it hard visit due to water stagnation. You can open Post office savings account, FD, RD, MIS, PPF, Sukanya Smirthi, APY, Jan Suraksha Yojana. You can apply SB account debit card, cheque and internet banking access here.
