A smile, friendly chat, splendid professionalism when it came to work! The staff in this office were mind-blowing! They were super busy but none of them was rude or stern at us! I visited the post office for my aadhar card. Huge respect for this person in particular who did not even take his tea break as we were waiting to get our work done with kids. The general image we usually have of govt offices was shattered here. Kudos to this team! 🙂

The staffs here are useless especially the way they treat youngsters who patiently wait in the queue,I come regularly to post couriers for my clients, and this one time I was on my way to a meeting and had POLITELY requested them if they can kindly make it quick, as the lady incharge kept delaying and taking her special time, selfishly making the customers wait. She raised her voice blabbering about questioning her job, which was a total lie. Anyways, she managed to create drama for simply requesting to process bit quickly. Useless, waste of time and energy with people like them. They lie about not having change and make us run about for getting change, partiality at its worst, this human thinks shes the queen of the post office while others are below her. Showed her a piece of my mind. Be fair to everyone or quit your job!

People don't write about Public Services but many of them are above par and require appreciation and certainly encouragement. Adyar Post Office is one of them. I have been using the services of P O. for quite a long time and very much satisfied. Whether it is simple purchase of postal stationary , or Speed Post, Money Order, or Registered Post it is done fast and perfectly. Of course, there may he queue, but can't help in a big country like ours. But the staff are efficient and quite helpful. The space on first floor is airy and well lit. As expected, the rates are quite w and services are fast and prompt. Parking space is available. Best wishes for their continuous good services.

Car parking would be a trouble. Ample 2 wheeler parking. Full fledged post office with all services available here. Parcel and stamps are at the backside of the post office. They can help you on packing on chargeable basis. Staff are better and responsive than other government offices.

They ask you to open your package even for domestic parcel, whereas this is something I have never had to do in the numerous times Ive sent packages from India post. In the website its written that the package should be properly and securely wrapped...and on reaching there with heavy packages they say that they do not accept pre packed parcels. Typical. They just seem to enjoy troubling citizens instead of making services easy functioning.

I went to send a parcel by Speed Post and the lady at the parcel counter was very helpful and friendly. Proper packing of the parcel was done after inspecting the contents along with shrink wrapping but you pay a nominal amount for it and you need to take your own carton boxes.

Sending parcel to abroad as well as domestic now is very easy with india post, facilties like quick and normal parcel sevices gives cutomer options according to their wish and priority. Now new service also has been launched with nominal charges for asia pacific. Charges for parcels are lowest in comparison with tracking facilities. So come and join India post for getting new experience of reliable services.
