Even though the facility is small and not very sophisticated, I had a really wonderful experience in applying for my minor kid. To start with, we missed out noting that under 4 years photos are needed, just some 10 mins before our slot when we realized it, we took permission to quickly get pics and return back to join the queue. Neither of parents’ passports have spouse name updated so when it went to the passport officer he asked us to again go to the document upload officer room and get our marriage certificate uploaded. Really thankful to be given 2 opportunities to not miss the appointment day and complete the process. Even the security guard knows the documents by heart and helps organise while waiting in the queue. Quite humble but knowledgeable staff

The process took place in a very smooth manner. The security staff is courteous. He checked the appointment details on the phone. He informs in advance the required documents to be kept in hand. Verification process: Must say it is well organised, happens sequentially. They do not let anyone to break the order.

The Staff members are courteous. Since the time for handling each client runs between 12 to 20 minutes, it would be better if an additional Manpower to scrutinise the Documents at initial stage. Alternatively the concerned Authorities can plan for opening Second Counter at some other Location in Mysore, so that 2 Passport seva kendras will be functioning at Mysore.This would benefit both staff and Clients as Mysore is growing fast and getting densely populated.. If possible please try to implement the above request Regards

I visited Metagalli Passport Seva Kendra for a fresh passport application submission. The staff are very impatient and rude, except for the watchman in the waiting area. I know there are many people who are waiting outside, but at least they should announce the list of documents to keep it ready. Instead, they shout your name as if they're in a market and act as if they're on a Mars mission where every minute counts.There are only two counters and they will make you to do trips to both counters without proper information. Overall, it's a disgusting experience.

The Passport seva kendra is housed in the Metagalli Post Office, it consists of Two halls and two rooms. The staff though consisting of two counter employees , one Verification officer and one security person all are very obliging. I feel a few more facilities are needed, viz. clean washrooms, xerox favility to get photo copies. Over all the Kendra is helpful in avoiding our visit to capital city Bengaluru.

Simple and easy process, friendly staff. Best part is you avoid a trip to Bangalore passport office. Infrastructure is poor but at least service is getting done without hassle. Advice - don't visit without appointment. Visit at the time specifically mentioned in the appointment form. Take Xerox of all originals and sign them before visiting to avoid last minute rushing

Good office Well maintained. But the staff still don't know which all documents can be submitted they are adamant on getting aadhar card and sslc marks sheet, when we can provide other documents... You can't talk to them... they just chase you away saying they need what they ask for For example for my spouse passport as adress proof I gave my passport but they denied and asked for aadhar.... Really pathetic staff

Good experience. Polite and efficient staff. Photos are taken at the spot, no need to bring photo. Keep old passport 1st and last page xerox if going for renewal (and no change in address or any other details). Whole thing takes 15 mins to get done.

I give 4 stars because the office works not on appointment basis but only on first come, first serve type. Rest is best. If one carries all necessary documents, the staffs take 10 minutes maximum per person. Friendly and obliging staffs.

I had the most traumatic experience with this PSK in my city yesterday. The guy on Counter A who uploads the documents and takes photo is the dumbest guy I have ever seen in my life. He was so impatient and inconsiderate in taking biometrics and photo of a child with special needs and he bluntly denied stating its a waste of time and hassle to other customers waiting out there. Though my appointment was at 10.15am, I was called in at around 11.15am and I had no complaints waiting with my child. He was not sympathetic at all and told to come again. Though I insisted to try just once to take a photo, he bluntly denied it and didn't even listen to the officer who came for help from Counter B. There is no toilet, no changing room or feeding room nor a ramp for people with special needs to get in. I felt it was better to go to Bangalore to have a hassle-free experience than visiting this PSK in my hometown. The Guy in counter A deserves to work in post office doing desk job where there is no need to interact with people.

This is a post office and a passport application center. We can get appointments online for the passport issue and have the passport process easily done. The staff were very friendly. The work usually gets done in 15-30 minutes usually. It comes near Jayadeva hospital. Passport issue will be smoothly done within a month for regular application and even faster for the tatkal applications.

Passport office coming to Mysore was a welcome move. But no one expected , it would be so small. It is like a clinic space. They are 2 executives who runs the entire office from morning to evening. People will always be jam packed as they don't want to travel to other cities.
