Located right outside the Thane railway station at the West side. Service is slow. Please be prepared to spend minimum 2 hours for any work as the queue is long usually and the staff works slowly.

Review based on several experience between April 2019 to dec 2019,Slow service at NSE-Saving account, post office should put at least 2 staffs/windows for such work as que builds up so long at the counter such that on Saturday that people has to go back without work done as counter closes at 12pm. 2 counters should be made available on Saturday at least. Male staff is also arrogant in response some times that he literally shouts at the person at counter if person makes small mistake in filling up the form. Post master also don't intervene in such cases even though she seats at the back of the staff. There is expectation of politeness to customers and smart support. Revisit in Jan2020: fortunately service was good, staff also introduced to post's new acc for ease of online transactions IPPB acc, at the counter also serviced well

Located at some distance from thane railway station. Surprisingly unlike other Indian post office the staff is polite, helpful,. Understanding and considerate. Not conjusted. Offers all india. Postal products and services. no xerox or print out ahop nearbuy so carry photocopy of all documents incase you want to avial any service. Ample Parking space available. Indian post ATM available.
