Overall a great experience. The entire process was completed in less than 2 hrs. Only 2 staff members are running the entire office, commendable. One downside is the infrastructure, the Passport authority should consider upgrading it.

The worst expirence , made me visit their office 5 times even though it was a mistake from the official's side in uploading documents.I do understand even they are humans but they treat you based on your appearance ie. whether you look influential or you look like someone who can be pushed around (AAM AADMI). Nothing NEW about it we all know how govt office function but what hurts me is they trouble even senior citizens and lesser educated people even for xerox copies(too dark or too light) but go with an agent the process is smooth as butter.

Had been to there for passport renewal. The entire process took 2 hours. The staff are very calm and helpful. The facility is understaffed with small premises. Even then the staff were working to best of their efficiency. Request the concerned authorities to improve on infrastructure and man power made available at BELGAUM PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA.

Very supportive staff. Whole process takes upto 2 hour's. 2 counters/windows are there. @1st submit application receipt along with supporting documents (original n zerox copies) . After verification they provide token number. We have to wait @ waiting area. After calling token number we have gon@2nd window, then they will take photos and biometrics. Done

Overall experience at the passport office was very smooth. The officers were friendly and helpful. On 15-10-2020 went to the office, within 20 minutes completed the process. On 18-10-2020 received call from Police station for verification. On 31-10-2020 Received Passport.

Worst service. only 2 lady staff. the document checking lady is so rude and arrogant, she don't have any common sense to speak to customer and not even basic knowledge about the passport terms. she behave like she is the chief commissioner over there and find maximum excuse to harass you and insult you. Department should look in this matter. want to fill compliant against her, but don't know whether anybody from higher level really cares about it.

Currently there are only two good thing about it, one of two is 'the PSK is easily accessible for localities, as they don't have to travel 100km for PSK' and the other one is the 'PSK staff' they are calm and supportive in spite of No proper waiting lounge/arrangement, no proper seating for applicants, not so good infrastructure, no dedicated help desk by Passport office, Bangalore.

Staff was very calm and care. But the process is very very slow. After applying passport need to wait for min 10 days to application submit. After that one week to move Bangalore passport office. they will take almost 1 week or 2 week to decide police verification required or not. Next police verification 15 days and sp office 1 or 2 days. Finally it will move to passport office for granting passport and they will take print and dispatch for 1 week. So alomst more than a month to get passport. So I LL suggest you can go to hubli passport office. May be you will get within 15 to 20 days or lesser time.

I had very worst experience here. I applied for re-issue of my passport just to add my wife name and no other changes. It took almost more than a month to get this passport and also post police verification initiated. Only here they will do it just documents collection and after a week they will move it to passport office hubli and they will move it to Banalore office. After they the process begins, to verify application they may take 15 days and they will decide for next level police verification.. so better to go hubli office if you required urgent in case.

Applied at PSK Belgaum I applied for normal passport in th month of November and booked an appointment on 17th December2019. Documents.(original and copy) 1 DOB : PAN 2. Address: Bank passbook 3. Non ECR: Degree certificate Carry printout of receipt and application. Additional documents asked by authorities: Bank account statement of six months, they said passbook is not properly scannable, so please submit such a document which is easily scanned like Adhar card. After PSK visit within 4 days I got call from police station for verification, they asked me to carry copy of documents, witness with Adhar card and color photos. I visited station submitted all documents and provided all information they asked within 30 mins everything got over finally they took photo with their device. On 3rd January 2020 I got my passport through post. The whole process took hardly 20 days.

Very less staff. Only two people handle the whole passport office. Officials take a lot of time to complete one application. Appointment dates are very rare when compared to Hubli passport office. No infrastructure. Hubli office is far better than belgaum office.

Worst passport seva service Kendra service. 1) Infrastructure is worst. 2) Staff is very arrogant and unhelpful. Staff behaves as if they are high level officers. They must know that elder people and less qualified people also come to passport office. And should be polite and helpful with them. I took my parents and family to issue Passport. The passport verification person was calling me agent and using harsh words. He asked my name and was threatening to do FIR against me as I asked him some questions w.r.t. required documents for passport. He was very rude with other people as well. I dont understand how he can use harsh words on anybody in office premises. And two lady officer were in support of him instead of actually listening the problem. 3) No proper token service. Verification person writes number on applications. And this is treated as token 😂. Needs lots of improvement in infrastructure, process and mainly behavior of staff.

I am having worst experience with applying passport here. It takes forever to get your passport if you apply in Belgaum. These people keep application for weeks at Belgaum before they consolidate and send it to Hubli for processing. My application was submitted on 23-May and application was forwarded to Bangalore only on 13-Jun. Best option is to apply at Hubli to avoid trouble.
