There is only one counter for transactions related to all types of deposits, leading to long queues at the counter. Even for a small enquiry, you have to wait for your turn. Many a time, the queue spills out of the post office on to the road outside. There is nobody to care for the senior citizens. Though the staff is good, one person cannot manage the large crowd single handedly.

Very good place to update Aadhar card. Employee's over there are good hearted, kind and generous. I got my Aadhaar updated less than 10 minutes. But the timing sense is very important to get your work done soon. If you visit this place around 12 or 1 PM its quite difficult to get your work done.

They go for lunch with their flexible time. asked me to wait. No lunch time mentioned in business hours. Were i also know that due to continues parcel booking they are forced to postpone the luch time. Also they dont accept my parcel. As upon the box amazon name mentioned. They forced me to buy a brown tape and stick it on amazon logo to hide this. Such things only seen in our government services. I am sure that there is no such rules to not accept any parcel which have any name on it. I m so frustrated with this idiotic behavior. Also will take my words back, if any rules exist like this.

Do not go for Adhaar Update here. Keeps giving lame excuses like "ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ವೇರ್ ಅಪ್ಡೇಟ್ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇದೆ" - There is a software upgrade happening" or OTP ಬರ್ತಿಲ್ಲ (OTP is not being generated). Do not go by the kind words the staff speaks, they say 'we will call and inform when the application is up'. They are just lazy to do a five minutes job. He turned around 20 people giving the same excuses. And people believed him. P.S: Neither an OTP is generated, nor any software update was happening. I got mine done the same hour at the Bangalore One Centre, Konankunte Road, just three kms away from this post office.

Very sad status here. Poor response. Attitude is not good. Most of the Saturdays server will be down displaying with a permanent printed board. Clerks are drawing salary from our tax money but they don't like to work for customers and spending time in chatting. No passbook entry, No deposits, No cash deposits during Saturdays, where most officials get time to do their post office work. Some higher authority should do surprise visit during weekend to see the poor status of this post office.. My goodness.. when god will bless.. with this condition, how one can expect improvement?

I recently send a SpeedPost from this office to Chennai - booked the post on Sat morning thinking it will reach only by Tue or Wed (they said it'll take 2 working days). To my surprise it went on Monday noon itself. In general I've found staff to be friendly as well.

I liked the service. Had called them to check about speedpost on Saturday. They mentioned the timing. Remember on Saturday speedpost is accepted only till afternoon 2'o clock. Office is not visible from main road.

Exposing another SCAM! If any elders or widows in your family or neighborhood is pensioner and has opted this post office to withdraw amount every month then the first thing the post office does is to make your pension amount be delivered by postman , even though you ask them to deposit it to your account they won’t the reason will be “we will do your work don’t worry” , “it’s difficult for us to enter the data to passbook” Later it’s impossible to get the pension without bribing the postman . As days passes by the postman will start to delay(this pension has no reason to be delayed) giving his own reasons. Once you are used to bribing and delays the postman further delays by months making sure that you get only one or two months of pension for the entire year. How to cross check whether the government is crediting you the pension every month ? Go to Kandaya bhavana (near Mysore bank bus stop majestic) go to 5th floor and enquire about your old pension or widow pension. You will need your ppo number which can be obtained in post office. What should you do in case you are receiving the pension from government and postman is delaying? Go to GPO near vidhan soudha with ppo number and ask them for fp number. Later provide the fp number to post office and demand your money. Thank me later !
