I am just worried, how this hotel fared 4* review. If i count on the difficulties i faced, it's endless. a) water:- there is no water in the hotel, have to buy outside. I asked the hotel boy to get one cane and my whole family got sick. b) i have rebooked the hotel one more day. The owner said that i have to keep my luggage outside of hotel for one hour, as check out time is 11 and check-in time 12. c) the cleanliness is for a toss. Unfortunately I didn't click the photos of bathroom d) the area/localities is full of garbage, tyre, dustbins etc

Staffs are very helpful and not greedy. But the location is a bit inside, though the vehicles can drop or pick you nicely in front of the hotel without any problem.

Let me start by stating the positives: the staff and the property owner were very kind to us and tried their best to make us feel comfortable. We felt very safe. They gave us bottles water and also provided us towels, soap and extra pillows. The WiFi worked well too which was really helpful for me. Now for the negatives: Despite the best efforts by the staff, my mom and I did not feel comfortable at all because the condition of the rooms was terrible. The bedsheets were stained and dirty, the cupboards and other furniture was dusty, the toilet flush wasn’t working. Overall the place was very unhygienic and had a strong stench which gave my mom a migraine. The reality did not match the photos online because of the hygiene issues. Even though we paid for one nights stay, we left within a few hours because we just couldn’t stay in those conditions. While leaving, I told one of the staff members that the rooms are very dirty and do not match the photos at all. They just gave me an excuse saying “obviously it’s not going to match the photos, the photos are old”. That’s not an acceptable excuse because people rely on the photos while booking their stay. I urge the property owners and staff to invest some time and money in maintaining the rooms better. To be honest, I’ve never seen a hotel with rooms in such a bad state. I regret not clicking pictures of the real state of the unhygienic room.

I entered and reserved an AC room for three days. The owner quickly provided me with discounts and other assistance. After registering, I requested blankets. I didn't get the blankets until the evening after this happened in the morning. I had to ask again in the middle of the night, and the staff came up with some pathetic justifications like, "He directed some other guy to offer blankets," etc. They don't give you any drinking water, not even bottled water, which is another significant drawback. Water or packaged water is a fundamental convenience that I've seen in other hotels in TN but wasn't there in this one. I request the owner to post a sign stating that drinking water will not be provided. I went the entire night without drinking a drop of water, leaving me incredibly thirsty. In order to save 200 rupees, please examine the condition of the key chain while checking in. I received a room key that was functional despite being half damaged. They charged me 200 rupees for a little piece of plastic after it snapped in half after a day. When I questioned whether or not that was the actual cost, he said that if I knew of any stores that sold inexpensive key chains, he could purchase them there and that left me with no choice but to pay 200 rupees for a 4-inch plastic key chain. Overall, the stay fulfilled my needs, but if you ask me, I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

This is a quaint hotel located just off the main road. We have stayed here several times with a smooth experience each time. The owner is very polite and accomodating and makes the time and effort to address our queries and requests regarding room reservations and other general queries about the hotel. The housekeeping/reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and ready to provide assistance under any circumstances. The service was quick and efficient. The rooms are compact yet neat and comfortable. Wifi facility is a plus. Overall, this is a friendly and safe place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

A budget friendly hotel in a prime location. But few things to be improved: 1. Drinking water is not provided. 2. Soaps given as complimentary were expired an year ago. When I checked with reception guy, he said no other soaps are available. 3. Cupboards & washrooms maintenance is worst. There is a lot of dust in cupboards and washrooms. Just to add few things, Google maps is showing complimentary breakfast but the same is not available since it is a budget hotel. And only 1 socket is available in the entire room.

Very worst. Bedsheets are dirty I asked the room attender to change he refused by saying those dirty won't go. Blankets given or not good. Non-ac room but the room table and cupboards are not at all maintained. Flush was not working in restroom. No geyser. Too much of mosquitos I couldn't sleep completely at night. Dont book in oyo by seeing the photos check and then book. The place was too crowd it's not east to reach the place even though near to metro station. Just for refreshment it's okay.

Do not at all go to this hotel...All reviews are totally fake. Let me tell you the reality, the owner and staff are not at all nice.They are charging extra unnecessary even for small small thing.The hotel will ask you to pay extra 400 rupee just for checkin in 1 hour early at 8 am instead of 9 am.

Not worth it. Located in bad neighborhood, but close to metro. Walking distance. Think twice before booking

Very Bad experience I have ever had in Chennai with this Oyo hotel. Staff behaviour was not good and he asked me to cancel it or give extra money to him. I had no choice and I paid. Room was also like ok ok it looks like old only. i would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Reply to the Owner: First of all she was not friend she was my wife. and your reply showing us who you are & how rude you are. I had paid 669 through Oyo app and when I came for check in you asked me to shift to another Oyo by calling the customer care and then you gave me alternate option to pay you 300 cash without cancelling the booking. I hope you would have seen in the CCTV I just had come to your hotel just put my luggage and I hardly stayed your hotel for 30 mins. While leaving your hotel your staff asked me to pay him some amout for his pocket money hope you will see that also in footage. you said you will not give blanket and will not give water bottle, will not give any soap untill or uless customer ask us to give. Bed sheet also were not cleaned I wish I could have clicked the image for that also. There are many things you need improve else you remove your hotel from Oyo because of you OYO is loosing their customers.

It was worst experience. I reached hotel after 8 hours of bus travel . I had confirmed booking for 2 nights and paid 75% charges. The reception said there were no rooms available. I had to pay premium to book another hotel and also extra taxi charges. Please never book this hotel Good part is that the hotel was in a very shabby location and I am lucky not to have stayed there

Pathetic place which is unhygienic - sheets not washed, rooms not clean and you spend sleepless nights due to mosquitoes. Bad area and surroundings with nothing nearby. The "hotel management" - that is 2 people who own the hotel apparently decided its against some government ruling to provide water as well and charge 20 rupees for a bottle of water. Nice way to rob people of their money. People end up buying a lot of bottles/water cans due to the parching Chennai weather. Oh and did I mention that they close it on oyo bookings and sell the rooms at a higher cost? Avoid this place at any cost. Much better places nearby and at a lower price! Unfortunately I had to settle for this place as a last minute cancellation by another oyo hotel. (The owners apparently reply to all bad reviews here defending the dirty place. I will be happy to edit this review as per their reply.) Edit - 1. Not from Chennai and had no way to personally inspect the place. 2. The "bargaining" was asking them to charge the same amount as what was mentioned on Oyo. Honestly it didnt even deserve 700 per day. 3. We had to book for 2 days in advance. There wasn't an option to book for one day and then look around for better options on the second. 4. The mosquito menace was drastically increased due to the disgusting balcony place with open garbage cans. 5. "Mineral water" wasn't asked, only ask was for drinking water. Wonder why there is so much agression from the owner for a review and talks about "ethics" from a customer for an honest review. They literally exploit ONLY 2 people to clean, maintain, serve and even manage the whole place. The whole place would collapse if those 2 workers didnt exist. Talk about ethics! :/ I'd be happy for anyone to look at the "camera recordings". Would provide me a wonderful opportunity for me to take them to court and shut this disgusting place down.

I book a room in this hotel through Oyo. In Oyo, it mentions 2000 for 2 days ( ac room) but after arriving at the hotel they charge 1820( for non-ac room) that's ok. Because it's a cheap price when compared to others. And the room was not hygienic(bathroom and walls) And please don't pay money in Oyo. They charge money from you if you already paid online. There is no drinking water available. It is the hot atmosphere in the rooms, better to switch to ac rooms.
