Head Post Office, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu

One of the most beautiful post offices, situated in an old English bungalow amidst the serene Blue mountains. I went there for the passport renewal submission. The entrance leads to the beautiful wood work counter. The bungalow has a driveway and ample space for parking. Although being a head post office the place was less crowded. Only hope we don't destroy the beauty of the building and place by making it into an ugly piece of concrete as with all other buildings in The Nilgiris (e.g. the ATM building)

Small place but it's great. The passport Kendra is in the same building which is a great blessing for the residents of Coonoor who had to go to Coimbatore for any passport related work.
