It's a yoga school turned hotel for the time being. Everything was under construction. Rooms were clean but not the one i booked for. Even though there was no service, you would have to buy your meal from outside again it may be because of all the construction work going on.

If anyone wants the worst hotel, this is his place..absolutely awesome.. dirty rooms with no dustbin, expensive hotel, zero amenities (water/soap/towels- nothing!!), torn dirty sheets, smelly No bathroom, faux balcony, no room service in their restaurant. The road to reach this place is equally terrifying..Take care and caution.

Booked non AC room on OYO app for $621. Arrive to hotel to be told non AC rooms are available $1200 but no rooms available for $621. Bait and Switch advertising which is illegal in most countries. No customer service, flexibility or accommodations. Even more odd for a yoga centred facilitate. Wasted half a day of vacation dealing with scam pricing. Location is far from main attractions on distant winding roads. Counter is full of upset customers.

Worst hotel ever... i had booked this hotel, when i visit their i found they have changed the booking from their side. They gave us room in which ac was not working even fan was not working so i decide to cancel the booking at the same time. I went to receptionist asked him to cancell the booking he denied to cancell booking as he got the payment , he was so rude and behave like local goons then i call oyo customer care thery help me to cancell the booking and they return my money too... Thanks to Oyo customer service.

The hotel is spooky. The service is the lowest in class. What they show in photos is way different in what they provide. The lights goes on and off 100 times. And most important is that this hotel is situated on a hill and there are no facilities like autorickshaw or so!!

I enjoyed the stay at Hotel Tapovan Valley. They do provide a nice customer friendly environment. In house hotel food and servicing were also good and expenses were not too much. They do have a in house yoga-meditation centre and also a good garden well maintained which provides a peaceful environment.

Our stay was veri comfortable anf fantastic, because of the all staff was verry helping and room was also pretymuch good. We had try food it was delicious We will visiting again this same property which is located in rishikesh near by raam jhula tha name of tapovan valley hotel👍😚 One think was they have arranged the new room for use due to anther room occupied this was pretty much good. The worst service ever.I booked this hotel through Oyo with an advanced payment.When I went to check in,the man at the counter denied check-in at first, saying payment through the Oyo app is invalid and If I want to stay ,I have to pay the full amount which was twice the amount mentioned in the app(I already paid an advance through the app).When I said that I will talk to the customer care then,the manager told me okay we will give you a room,but you have to pay us GST in the hotel in addition with the amount mentioned in Oyo,But the charge at Oyo didn't mention such things.Instead,it was mentioned inclusive of tax.On saying them again about complaining at Oyo,they finally agreed to give me room.I booked a delux room,but the room they showed was a 3rd class dirtiest room ever with a very filthy smell.I told them,this is not the room showed in the photo,they said,yehi milega..jo karna h karo aur iske saath tax v legega alag se again.Humara yehi policy h.The garden was beautiful but the place felt unsafe with such kind of people around.

Loved it at 1500 per night ....!! Awesome hospitality.. lovely People ..meditation atmosphere makes it more serene with the mountains view. Taking car along with u till the hotel is a bit dangerous as the the hotel is up the the hill 500 m. Literally 45° angle drive. We called service man from hotel for help.

First of all, location was tough to reach. Steep slope and narrow path. Then, comes the management and staff. They were polite yet useless and senseless. Since, I booked rooms at lower prices, they allotted me worst rooms possible. One room had broken toilet seat, other had flush problems. When complained, they asked us to use whatever was provided, like it was nothing to complain for. OYO also didn't took interest to look into the matter.

First of all, be careful as the name is deceiving. The actual name is Association for Yoga and Meditation (AYM). It's a yoga institution that also sells rooms to vistors. They have a tie up with OYO which sells the rooms as SPOTON 79585. Booking.com also sells this OYO room with the same brand name. It took me around 3 hours to figure out the hotel. Second of all, if you are driving don't risk it. It's 400 meter deep in the steep and narrow passage and two vehicles can't pass each other. So drive at your own risk. Not recommended for regular drivers. Lastly, the rooms are budget and hence don't expect much.

The hotel rooms are good but service is very poor. The room given to me was far from the main reception. It was in another building . There is no phone here with extension for room service. That's still ok, tried calling the number mentioned on the website but it's oyos number that made me wait for 10 mins. It's very cold, I am sick, there is no switch here for geezer and also I had to walk all the way to the next building to get my query resolved . Rooms are good but horrible experience. Never coming back

Locotion is little difficult to reach. Manager is good but service from the kitchen is too bad and slow. One night I was only served chapati when I ordered for mixed vegetables also after about 40 min. I did not wait further for the vegetable and left the dining table.

It's a bit difficult to access especially if you are driving there. The street towards it is narrow that onlt one car can go at a time. Service was the bare minimum. The owner seems like a good chap though. We had to change a different place the next day!
