passport application verification: If you have all necessary documents in original and Xerox format, verification process was very fast. If you produce E-Aadhar as a address proof make sure to get in appointment date. Otherwise they don't accept it. If you produce original aadhar it will be in full size, half size format was not accepted here. Necessary documents in original and Xerox : 10th mark sheet, Aadhar card, Driving licence or pan card or smart card.

Very poor service. For the last three year pass book updation not done the staff remark is computer slow come next day or leave the pass book and collect it in the evening. No postmaster available and no complaint register available. After my insistence the book was updated. I waited for one hour. I am afraid how the poor village, old age people are treated. If you want to get any work done in this office please got through agent.

Postal department is in its downfall period, because of the modern day communication trend has turned towards digital. But services like,passport , savings bank, gold purchase, money transfer, can be done here efficiently. Very spacious interior for workers,but very limited space for customers. Situated in a corner of the road. No space for parking.
