I have visited POPSK shivamogga for passport verification of my parents. I had just got my passport verified from hubli office. Talking about the differences 1. No proper token /appointment system. 2. No proper information given. 3 . Ill mannered . 4. Response for applicants is very poor . Its better to select hubli for passport verification .

I wish I could give 0 stars. They treat the applicants like animals. They don't even allow the men to use their bathroom. And tell them to go outside. Severe delay in passport processing time. If you have appointment at 2 pm then it will be over only by 7 pm. Worst service. Need to complain to our external affairs minister.

I wish I could give 0. The worst passport se a Kendra I have ever seen! Very rude behaviour of lady who is handling people. 1. There is no seating system for people. 2. They don’t allow people to use washroom even for small kids. 3. People have to wait min 4 hours if we choose this centre. 4. Very irritating behaviour of lady definitely annoying character 5. The lady sends small kids out if they wish to eat even biscuits.

This is the worst passport seva kendra I visited, poor service. Its been 10days now my friend applied n submitted for passport but we haven't received any confirmation. Even after the passport submission,the file reference number is not generated.pathetic!! It's better to choose other locations

Worst passport seva Kendra. There is a rude lady and they don't follow the time. We came here at given booked time and they made us wait multiple hours and were very rude. Don't come here!!! U will get leg pain insted of passport by standing outside in the sun.

The centre is clean and well-maintained, however the worst aspect is the service and assistance employees. They are rude and do not know how to interact with others. They simply insult everyone by scolding and screaming. In the event that further information is required, the response is poor. If at all feasible, I would recommend that you visit other centres.

The process followed here is very slow. I went in at 2:45 PM and was not done even at 5 PM. There’s no token system and people are let in based on their rapport with the receptionist there. On questioning, she has an answer that the person has come before and was asked to bring additional documents. If that’s the case, why waste other people’s time who are in the queue. This is run by government of India and was definitely expecting a more professional experience. A ‘May I help you’ counter is must here as people run out to get photocopies of documents in the middle of their turn causing delays.

Time is of the essence in any transaction. Online appointment is a joke. Everything runs as per the attenders will. Had to wait for 4 hours to get the service. Had an appointment at 12,reched here at 11 but finally got the work done at 3.This is an absolute waste of time.

Recently I had visited Passport Seva Kendra in Shivamogga and Harish Sir from the department had verified my documents. Here is what noticed about his work culture. For the first time I noticed a government officer handling visitors gently and professionally. Harish Sir carefully verifies the documents produced by applicants and gives them opportunity to go and get Xerox or print of any missing document. And he never ignores the presence of additional applicants who come and stand infront of him to ask some quick questions. He treats everyone with good gestures and at the same time he is a strict officer towards document verification. He makes the process to go very smooth till end. I noticed that he took just 20mins for lunch break and resumed the work of other person who had left for lunch. I think he understands the pain of waiting! At last before leaving I asked his name and complimented his work culture. He replied with a big smile “This is all because of the cooperation from the applicants like you”. What a positive attitude he has! His dedication, enthusiasm and insight are truly inspiring. I wish him many years of great achievements!

One of the newly sanctioned passport seva kendra, similar to every other psk but in small size but capable of catering to multiple applicants at a time. Since its located near post office all the stationary stores are available,has ample parking area, waiting area is small but can be accomodated, you can get your document verified within a day.
