Well after reading those old reviews I thought Ahhhh...... it will be another worst day but after visiting there I haven't experienced anything bad. Those officers are very kind and polite, all you need go with the proper documents. if you've done any mistakes in the application they'll explain how to correct them in a proper way. You don't have to rush early just go there at the time of your slot if you've gone there early you have to wait till your slot time. The time it takes to complete your verification is based on no.of applications before your slot. I think those old reviews become very old and the office updated a lot. I would prefer Bapatla POPSK more than Vijayawada. Have a good day.

I wish I could give 0 rating, the new staff here is so frustrating and don't even respect the applicants further they don't know how to reissue a passport making necessary corrections in the new passport and argue with me to go to head office(Vijayawada) for the corrections even though I have a valid appointment booked at this location. Upon calling the customer care I was told that this location has the ability to make the corrections and can reissue passport but in reality the staff here don't know how to do that and starts arguing with me Don't go here and waste your time.

My experience was good. My appointment is at 10:15 am on 13th Jan I went 20 mins late. I am afraid if I am late i would be asked to reschedule the appointment. But it was not like that, I went there and there are three phases. In first phase my 10th original and Xerox, my aadhaar original and Xerox (as I kept aadhaar as my proof of address and proof of Date of Birth during applying for appointment through passport website) and appointment receipt are verified. In second phase also verification is carried out. In third phase, my biometrics( two hands fingerprints) and photo were taken and took my sign wherever required. All the three phases were completed within 15mins for me. There are three persons before me to complete their biometric. Overall it took 30 min-45mins to come out of passport seva kendra. Police verification completed for me on 21st Jan 2022 and got passport via post on 6th March 2022. Once police verification completed, it took almost 1 month to get passport via post. If you want to get passport within 2-3weeks after document verification in passport office you better apply at Vijayawada passport seva kendra.
