VRL Travels has a good reputation for travel by road in sleepers both AC and Non AC buses. The sleeper buses allow you to stretch out and sleep awhile during the night journey. There's a tiny rack for your luggage and slippers and curtains to give you a modicum of privacy. They are prompt, thrifty and have well trained drivers in white uniforms. Here's what I dont like. Most of their pickup points have bars closeby where men tank up. Secondly, women and the elderly have no loo. But all in all they're the best in what is on offer.

Asusual VRL hardly maintain time while dropping. We were travelling from gulbarga to Bangalore n suppose to reach by 7:30am but we reached at 9:30am to yeshwantpur.

I am on the way home from Kalaburagi to Mangalore. When me and my mother boarded the bus, we were drenched in rain. On the way, after waiting for them to stop for nearly 4 and a half hours, they stop on the road side. The ladies in the bus were instructed to relieve themselves in a small white room written TOILET. The toilet was quite away from the road, dirty, no water and no light. We then had to relieve ourselves on the road side. We ladies had to look for a spot away from the main road, yet not very dark and crowded by plants. While enquired, the driver said the road to the VRL office was closed. And the ticket collector says it's because the regular hotel road was closed. However that doesn't justify stopping on a road side and behaving with insensitivity. Me and my parents have been regularly travelling up and down to Gulbarga for many months now. I always choose VRL over other travels. It's a terrible and shocking experience from VRL travels.

They have to improve a lot as orange tours and travels, they don't have mobile charge connections everytime it will be off, they don't provide stop in some hotel for washroom, they ask women and men to go in field for washroom in the night most of the time

The service is good, but they always delay /extend the journey by 1.5 hours. If you are supposed to reach destination at 7am, than consider you will be reaching there by 8:30am. Rest in general they are good
