Hi i am rahul and i am from hamirpur. The Post office and the passport seva kendra in the town is good in service. I had applied for the passport and i got the new passport in a month. The Verification process takes time. The post office staff is very good in nature.

Online appointment required for applying passport. The appointment time as per online appointment and actual appointment time is not inline.limited seat fie sitting is available.

My appointment here was scheduled for 11:00 am. The time right now is 3:00 pm. Why? Because the server is down since morning. I don't want to blame the officials here, they are trying their best, but I am very disappointed with the head office. Not everyone has the luxury of spare time. I know this review will not fix the issue. It's Indian government system afterall. Edit: Finally the people present for the appointment here, fixed the office server by themselves after using hit and trial method; since the engineer supposed to fix the issue was present in Shimla. Such is the plight of government offices here.
