I've visited this place today morning around 10AM for AADHAAR update. I've inquired the staff outside and they're courteously guided me to the correct counter 👍 However, when I reached the counter they told that the slots were over (45 per day) and asked me to come by tomorrow 8.30AM (as the token would be given on first come, first serve basis). Then she guided me if you want to get it done urgently, visit the nearby IDBI bank. That a nice gesture 👌 Over all positive experience even though I didn't get the job done.

Went to avail aadhaar related service. The person was not available. They asked me to come back after lunch. I was there by 12 PM. But they asked me to come back by 3 PM. Seem the person is having an enormous appetite. People are not friendly and helping. Only 40 tokens a day it seems. But some people are getting extra tokens and using it on their will. Better go to nearby Tambaram corporation office, where things move much faster.

for ph no update on aadhar visit sree agency esevai maiyam, pammal. They support till evening 4’o clock. Please contact them on their ph no provided to check on their availability before reaching. I’ve been visiting 4 post offices across tambaram and chromepet almost for a month. They are unprofessional, arrogant, lazy and annoying. They deny any services related to aadhar. High time India post office should accept they won’t support people with aadhar related issues. It is waste of time to visit post office.

Very worst service post office. No Response in call. why they having telephone connection. isit only for staffs personal use i think. i applied for postal ID card on 13Aug2022. Tatkal will deliver at home in 15 days they said. charged Rs.600. Now 5th jan 2023. still i didn't received the ID card. .

Not bad, decent postal services, could improve a bit more! For international parcels they could have one more additional counter for collecting and registering the parcels so that there wouldn't be much queues. Though my work was done in 35 mins or so, one more counter would've made it more quick. The guy who seals the parcels was really helpful in guiding through the process. And the location of the post office is in a prime area, nearby stationary shop for easier access of postal stationary. Do carry aadhar card (x2 copies) for international services.

Went for sending international parcel. Service: The service was ok, considering a govt office. They inspected the items and packed themselves, no need to worry for boxes or any packing supplies. The only issue I had was, at the time of booking, the printer was not working and no backup printer available, I have to wait for an hour to get the receipt and customs declaration customer copy. It will take ~25 mins for a customer to inspect, pack and send the package. Location and Parking: the gate to parcel office is in the back of the post office, located in narrow market road, 2 wheeler is recommended. 4 wheeler cannot be parked. For international parcel, take 2 copies of Aadhar

God, it takes eternity to even get to the savings account operations counter!!! I think one must be there right before they open the gates to finish up one's work and leave, if not hours and hours get wasted simply waiting for the token numbers to move up. Not sure if the employees are slow or their computers are slow or their servers 🤷‍♀️ and what's more is that there's only two counters for sb transactions. I do feel maybe the pli section or the speed post/parcel sections work "normally". Kindly put up more counters or learn to do swift work!

I had sent some food particles like wheat flour, rice flour, rangoli powder sambar and rasam powder to my newly wed son @kolkatta from Chennai , but when the parcel reached it was in a very bad shape all zip lock covers torn and all ingredients mixed. I want to know what compensation the postal department is going to me for the mental agony I have gone through as a mother and amount spent on preparing and sending it by post. I do not want mere letters but compensation for loss and the mental turmoil I have undergone. Expecting an early reply. Please don't believe in the post office opening time 10Am. I don't want yall to lose your precious time. Dead slow. Only 2 or 1 Counters functioning to serve thousands of people related to savings & finance. This is happening for past 5 years. Came at 10 am and token given to me was 84. At that time only 8 tokens moved. Now at 1:30 pm only 57 tokens serviced and only 1 counter is operating at present ! Very poor lethargic service

Might be a very worst maintained HEAD POST OFFICE in India. Poor operational skills of employees, slow process. Usual wait time will be 45 minutes for any deposit/ enrollment/ withdrawal. An advice to the Post Master: Please use the workforce properly.

Worst ever service here.Similar like BSNL sector this would also come down slowly.If u are going for any service in Tambaram post office it would surly take one day.The staff who are working here take there job too carelessly they not bothered about anything except doing there job as slow as a snail. They just know how to do there job super slow .Since they have there gov job in hand they do it very slow .First the service manager should come out off the room to check if the staff are doing there job properly not just sit in the room and have tea and biscuit .Work for the people so only u have been given government job other wise move to some other sector.

The response is always not the same, your delivery gets delayed, or sometimes is wreck. You have to wait in a long queue to send a delivery, they don't even answer properly. There are many complications here.

Rest person don't have time to speak itself properly... Instead of human can replace kiosk which will one time investment... I went there for phone number updation in my aadhaar card, they literally took one whole day to update a phone number. Only 1 counter is functioning to service 100s of people and moreover they're slow in work too. Many people are vexed with their service.

Only limited two wheeler parking available here. Staffs are not courteous while responding. I saw people were standing in long queue for Aadhaar update and they give only 40 tokens per day. There are other banks they’re doing much faster than Post Office where no token no long queue. For New Aadhaar registration banks are doing with NO fee. Post Office was not enough to handle more than 40 per day. They need to put an hoarding where are the other places in Tambaram for Aadhaar services are available.
