Service is of cours above board but it needs more improvement, better maintainance and last but not the least, adequate postal staffs। there is a crying need of more working employees under postal authority। much congestion occur here daily। no precaution is taken to fight covid 19। a lot of people gather here for multiple purposes and nobody maintains the lines। a lot of public scheme duties are done here without specific info in which counter the seperate abd particular work will be done। so public harrassment happen off and on; and the postal staffs are also being irriated to manage such troublesome situations।

It is one of the important post office of duttapukur. It is well communicated with neighbouring areas by different auto rickshaw routes, van rickshaw routes and electric rickshaw routes. This office is well maintained by post master and postal staffs. This office has internet connection. They offer central government's various financial deposit schemes such a kishan vikash patra, monthly investment scheme etc. Locals come here to post their official, important registry letter and personal letter, parcel etc.
