The place is nice ,it gives a good feeling , but the service is too slow, I feel there are not enough staff or may be very busy everytime, we have to wait for a long period for a small speed post/register post or register ad, they speak less and take more time, the closeing time opening time it does not match , well rest the post office is like a post office like over all india it is.simce last 37 yrs the way I see

It is a typical government facility. It is situated almost in the center of VVnagar so it is quite easily accessible.

Based on my experiences since 2008 (student days) till date, this one is a pathetic office where you will need to wait for atleast 20 minutes for sending even a simple speed post. First of all, out of three windows they will open only one window. And the person in that window will take minimum 5 minutes each for every person. Considering there are always minimum 3-5 persons in queue due to such slow pace, it will take 20 minutes of yours for any task. Though slow in processing, they are very prompt in declaring recess or closing time. :) I feel staff of Indian post should learn some lessons from situation of BSNL.

Their timing is unpredictable. On map it's 5 PM closing time, but in reality the close at 2 PM. Rude employees behave as if they are giving free service. They all need to be fired.

The place has less of public information display and citizens are not well guided. The staff maybe cooperative but the building structure is fairly old. Lacking of facilities in terms of restroom as well the parking. The entrance is surrounded by local street vendors. Flooring is renovated recently that make some good appearing sense among the users. It needs a complete make over by the India Post.
