I was a tourist from Kolkata, who had decided to see if I could withdraw money from my account at this Post Office at Dwarka Nagar. Initially there was a language issue, as the staff were not exactly conversant in English. Furthermore the fact that my Account was based in a different state didn't help matters. However, after a little prodding and cajoling the clerk relented and accepted my Cheque. He however didn't let me withdraw more than Rs. 2000/- saying the money is for local account holders. The local customers were a mix of bemusement and frustration at the delay I caused. Nice experience for a tourist, I must admit.

Worst and bitter experience, no cash for withdrawal and in reply we are hearing answers like , go to your home branch , this is a small office , we don't maintain such huge amount of cash. Tell me is 20k huge amount??? If you can't provide , why this office and why you take salary ???
