Went to Dubai for a speed post for the first time. An office that is not at all customer friendly. How come our government institutions are so bad? Even the police station would be a better experience. I don't understand where the problem is. In any case, the employees here keep telling themselves that they should not suffer the fate of our KSRTC employees.

This is head post office, Thrissur. Postal department is one of the few leftovers of the imperial government and works exactly like a full fledged government office. Systems are far too slow and will take long time to get any work done.

Staff behaviour is very bad. They are working on their convience. No respect for elderly person. Not providing complete information about the policy or deposited opened. Also never bothered about customer who deposited their life time savings in post office.

This post office has all services like letters & parcels, post office saving bank, money order, speed post, postal life insurance, express parcel, business post, international money transfer, bill collection and e-post etc. Personally I didn't like their service. I just opened a new policy for my kid, they didn't respond well but the postman (name:unnikrishnan ep) was service good. He communicated well but he clarified my doubts.

Such a waste place ever i have seen😡, the officers dnt hav any responsilility, come to wid my relative & they hav to get family pension, while came to dis place the officer was not there one person who was dis post was leave and another lady was not any responsilility she was not there she's outside the office to donate blood... That was lie actually she attend any mrg function😄,.... After 2hrs didn't come..... Very bad services from the post office side, plz take a good action to responsible authorities,if u hav such other replacement institutions plz dnt come there🙏

The same service like BSNL few years ago.I deposited few cheques for NSC at my local post office. Even after a week no trace of where the cheques are . When asked the Post master says it's at head office.so pathetic.

Worst customer service. No one picks up the phone call. I called them several times to know the timings for sending a speed post on a Saturday. But no one responded and when I reached there by 3pm they are telling its closed. Nothing to be surprised that people prefer private couriers instead of this.

Patturaikkal post office staff attitude to be changed .. I reached at 2.55 at Thier office , they were not accepted my parcel pack..they said time over .. this type of staff must get a training that how government paying their salary. private companies are working nearly 8 to 10 hours more than 10 hours even ..... If it is a private courier company they will come at home and they will pick up the item... Because they need business turnover or else it will affect for their salary... So our government should put a target for all the government office ... ..

Very poor and apathetic service.A typical example of substandard govt office.Unskilled and unresponsive employees where they are just coming to office for only for getting salary.We can see the employees without dedication and devotion to their job and for the service of nation. Disappointed.Total shame to the entire postal service of the country.Office now reallocated into municipal bulding 1st floor on where in base floor state treasury office working.No dedicated parking facility available.

Still act like typical govt office people... Reached office at 9.30 am for a speed post.. Even while person is sitting ar speed post counter, they say sercice starts only at 10 am... Long live India post... arrogance at its best... Even senior citizens are been shouted at for not folowing the proper directions..wowww... If u have an option to send ur consignment by courier... I kindly advise u to take that option... Or come here to get embarrassed

Thrissur Head Post Office This post office is located in the Municipal Office Rd, Koorkenchery, Thrissur, Kerala 680021 a busy intersection of Thrissur. It is accessible by local transport like rickshaw and buses. Thrissur H.O post office belongs to Thrissur, Thrissur, Kerala. This Post office belongs to Kerala circle, and further under Kochi Region and Trichur division. The post office Thrissur H.O type is a Head Post Office. Usual business hours for Thrissur Head Post Office are from 8 am to 4 pm and working days are from Monday to Saturday. This doesn't include public holidays or extended business hours as declared by Indian post office. The money remittance services offered by this post office are Instant Money Order, Electronic Money Order and International Money Transfer. And the mode of payment for these services is either cash or cheque depending on the amount of money to be transfered. Business Parcel, Business Post, Direct Post, Domestic Flat Rate Box, EMS, E-Payment, Epost, Express Parcel, Franking Machine, IFS, Inland Speed Post, Instant Money Order, International Flat Rate Box, International Mails, Money Gram, Money Order, National Bill Mail Service, National Pension Scheme, Philately, Postal Banking Service, Postal Life Insurance, Postal Stationary, Postbag and Postbox, Registered Posts, Western Union International Money Transfer, Aadhar card services are available here. The location of the post boxes outside the post office compound are not that easily accessible and the area was very dirty when this author visited the area. No parking available and people park haphazardly and this makes it more difficult to access the post boxes to drop letters in post boxes. Post cards were not available when this author visited and the staff could not give any details of when it will be available. The ATM counter is a little away from the post office entrance and is also not easily accessible due to the poor maintenance of the pavement. There is a ramp for wheel chair access to the ATM counter. When the author visited there was no board designating the ATM counter. Philately department is limited stocks of philately items. On two occasions the Bureau was found closed despite being working hours. More could be done to improve the philately bureau. The administrative office is also in the same building.
