I went to get SSYA account opened on 2nd June. I had filled the form, attached the required documents with it. I entered the post office at 2:30 PM on a working Friday. No staff was seated on the inside counters. When I asked a person he said it's lunch time. A notice on one of the counters said lunch time 1:30 to 2:00 PM. A staff member arrived after 25 minutes and I handed over the form to him. He went through the form quickly and wrote the current date at the back side of the application form. "Come on 20th June to take your passbook" were the kind person's only words. I looked back at one of the large display boards hanging on the wall behind me that had mentioned duration taken to provide services to the customers. It mentioned Account Opening - 10 minutes.

This post office is located in the main market of utraula It has a good courier services you can also deposit money here It is painted with red colour And have lots of seats and fans inside Post offices are located in every town, village and city. In a big town or city, there are many post offices and their branches. But in a small village, there is one post office only. It is a very useful department for the public. Post offices carry our messages to distant places. The charges are not very high. We may keep in touch with our friends and relatives through post offices. We put our letters in the letter boxes and our letters reach our friends and relatives. There are a number of windows in the post office. We can send registered letters, parcels and money-orders. We can also get post cards, inland letters and envelopes at these windows. The Post office also distributes mail. The postmen deliver the letters in the homes of the addressees or at business places. The staff of the post office works day in and day out. We must admire their hard work. Post offices are very useful to the citizens. Without a post office, life would become dull.
