I would never personally suggest anyone this Courier service. The lady I spoke to this morning was very rude and very unprofessional. As a Customer, I would never suggest any of my friends or my family members to DTDC Courier Service kattappana.They should train their staff the basics of customer service and what professionalism Means.

They don't even deserve one star. Always we have to pick up from the DTDC office, even though we pay for the delivery charge and no delivery to home which is within 1.5 kms, . I really don't understand why this service is called Delivery service then? When we purchase something from online, most of the time we don't have provision to tell, which courier service the item is couriered. If i have the option I will NEVER EVER EVER chose DTDC

The parcel was sent to me from Ernakulam on 2nd April 2022 and it reached the courier office only after 4 days on 06/04/2022(while booking you people agreed they will deliver it on 04/04/2022 itself ). They informed me that the courier will be delivered on 06/04/2022. The courier is not yet delivered to me. I called your delivery agent regarding the delivery of the parcel to my destination and late delivery. She told me that they will only be ready to hand over the package to a shop which is acting as their subsidiary delivery office (marian book stall,Thookkupalam).They are not ready to deliver it to my destination due to their personal reasons. Due to my urgent requirement, I agreed to collect it from there, even though I will have to spend extra time and money. But they didn't deliver it to me as promised and replied they will not hand it over on 06/04/2022. With these conditions the delivery agent ( mobile no :+91**********) had come up with such rude behaviour and abusive local language without any respect. She argued with abusive local language and replied that they can't deliver it to my destination due to their personal reasons and if I want the shipment ,collect it from where they are demanded to collect, which is their main office, the next day on 07/04/2022 otherwise they will not deliver . I asked her to at least hand it over to the shop(their subsidiary office) that agreed before as the shipment is important for me. She didn't listen to my words and responded with abusive local language. It was totally dirty behavior of the girl (mobile no :+91**********) who picked the call.

Not delivering to the addressee properly, instead they will make a phone call to take the items if required, even if the addressee is located within town limit or even within 1 KM away from their office. It is understood that this practice is followed not only at Kattappana but different parts of Kerala. Two weeks back I had made a complaint, being the sender, for calling one of my addressee to collect items from an office located 23 KMs away, even if two other DTDC offices were located within less than 6 KMs of the addressee..!!! If remark like "LIVE PLANT" is made in the article they may they may even call the addressee to the booking office itself...🙄🙄😇

I shouldn't give them a single star but I have to give them a very bad review here. Our family came back from Bangalore and has been for a week quarantine at home. One of my friend send an urgent medicine from Bangalore to Vellilamkandam that is to 685507. Origin location promised us this package will get delivered in this pincode. Within 2 days of time the package reached in Kattappana city and this guys refused to deliver it in the address and they have asked us to pick it up from their office since they deliver within in 2km around the location. I have informed them we are not able to come outside due to this quarantine but they never accepted. What you guys are thinking about courier service? And you know I have to travel a 13km from my home to pick up this shipment. Then what you guys are doing there just sitting and inform that the shipment is here or what? Irresponsible!!! Just learn about what is doorstep delivery please. Why should I give my address and specific PIN CODE if you are not delivering it in the address?
