Very bad service... They don't even deliver with in the distance of 5km even, unlike other courier service do...customers has to go their office and collect everything...and the attitude of the lady there is very rude and unprofessional

I make 0 star On 28.12.2022 goods were dispatched from DTDC Thrissur Branch to Thalassery. At the time of dispatch, the item was dispatched after specifically asking if it would be delivered to the home. When I showed him the delivery address, he said that he would deliver it to home. Goods arrived at Mahe branch on 29.12.2022 at 8 am. Morning received call from the Mahe branch they told we not deliver item to your home and have to go to the office to collect it. At the time of collection it should have been said that there is no home delivery even if it is a place of 5 KM. 30.12.2022 Even by this time I could not collect it. Now a person has been sent to collect after paying Rs 150 auto fare. Is your service like this; Or is the problem only in certain branches? There is no need to suffer like this next time!!

Let me share my experience with DTDC. I was suppose to get an item on 17th September. The DTDC office didn't inform me that the courier had arrived in Mahe. Instead they marked as receiver not available. Its been more than a month now, I haven't received the shipment. Even the sender didn't get the item returned, so they can’t refund the money. DTDC higher officials are saying the item went missing and the case is with the vigilance. DTDC cannot be trusted, your valuable documents or items can go missing.

Worst service…as i got so many parcels in dtdc and professional couriours thalassery this mahe branch dtdc service is soo bad ….staff is soo unprofessional he doesnt have basic sense about customer service….

Worst service ever. Very very rude behavior by mr Farhan. I wonder when they will learn to talk to people . He was threatening that if you can’t come by 3pm we are sending the parcel back (which was worth ₹1500 +delivery charge ₹120). I told him - the person who is supposed to come to your office and collect the parcel have work, he have office, so he can come after 5 only , he said no if you are not coming by 3, I am canceling and sending this back. I asked him ithinano njanagal delivery charge pay cheythath. He replied that’s not delivery charge. It’s transit charge . Peru maatti paranjal prasnam theernnallo. Then I asked him to send it thalassery city center Dtdc office which is nearby my friends home, so she can go and pick it.. he said ok I will send it to thalassery but not sure which office this will go to as we have 3 offices in thalassery (then what do you know mister?). I am asking you , Why do you need 3 offices in a place if your basic intention is not helping people with their parcels . Why can’t you be little human to people . What happens if you open your office little longer if someone requests you this much? Or if it’s not possible, if they are asking you to send it to another office where they can send someone, why can’t you make sure that it goes to that particular office ? What’s the main purpose of your offices? My humble request is, if Dtdc have a good (at least average) network, when you are receiving a parcel check the address , check the delivery pin code weather they have home delivery to that particular home or not. If it’s going to a place where you don’t have a home delivery service, tell the person who is coming with the parcel to you - that , See this pin code doesn’t have home delivery. Are you sure you want to send it through dtdc? Or you want to try some better courier services?.. please do this !!!

No home delivery but accepting the goods on par with tge charge of home delivery. Making the addressee to get the goods from their office. Simply saying, it is merely cheating.
