Generally called "the Post Office" in India, it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world. Warren Hastings had taken initiative under East India Company to start the Postal Service in the country in 1766. They guide how to avail all the facilities offered by government & Show the right way to do all the procedure..... Wheelchair accessible entrance is there.... Dhenkanal Head Post office is located in a central location. Always crowded and very busy Post office. Well mannered staff members and helping persons. In the same campus there is office of the Superintendent of Post offices. On the road side there is ATM of Post office.
