I like the most of this place because of homely atmosphere with superb food. Staying at this place is very peaceful and relaxing. Very economical and atmost respect shown by the staff. Sea beach is nearby and more importantly it's not crowded at all. You got to be very careful when go to sea beach, very strong rolling wave.

Very bad rooms. The flooring is very weak, as it was raining heavily we saw how the water was coming inside the rooms through the balconies. Taps were not working. Very bad behaviour of the cook, who cooked not so well. He had the audacity to show such attitude though we are the ones who have paid And we had to make our tea every evening . On the day of checking out, they kept on saying that the new guests will arrive so we should leave before the time of check out. Horrible experience. Take my suggestion, save money and go n stay in any good hotel but not this dtdc. AVOID dtdc.

If you want to stay in a quite place at Puri, undoubtedly this is one of the best places near Niladri Sea Beach, beside Panthaniwas. The rooms are not like hotel rooms. If you go with gang you can book an entire floor, having 4 bedroom 2 hall room and 2 kitchen. The care taker Punya Babu and his son Babna will cook food for you with amazing taste. From the balcony and terrace the beach is clearly visible. Niladri beach is 2 minutes walking distance. Most important the area is very much secured as govt officials visit panthaniwas frequently, so the place is fully secured for ladies.

Location - opposite of Mayfair hotel and near to otdc panthaniwas and jamindar palace , near to blue flag and Niladri beach. Rooms are on 2nd floor with partial sea view, no lift. It's 2 no of 2bhk DTDC have. You can book single room also in any 2 bhk. 4 balcony in a 2bhk. Personal balcony also in bedroom. Attached mordern toilet. Room have ac. Aquaguard, fridge, dining table are there. Cook present with very good cooking skill. Room price are low even low than any non ac room. Peaceful environment to stay as there is almost pin drop silence in that area as most of the land don't have construction and government land. Sea beach is just 5 min walkable distance. One thing I want to add. Biswajit da is a very good person but when we are leaving we have given 150rs as tips . Caretaker person (I don't know name) was saying we are not used to get this much less tips. We hadn't enough cash that time and they don't have UPI in their phone. Later after reaching home again I transferred some tips in the building owners account to give to them. It was insulting for us infront of all family members they said like this.

I had a wonderful experience at the DTDC guest house from 9th Dec to 13th Dec 21.The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. A special mention for our cook Biswajit da ..... Nearest land mark is Hotel PANTH NIVAS Nearest neat n clean 🏖 sea beach at a distance of 200 mts NILADRI adjacent to Mayfair and BLUE 🚩FLAG BEACH adjacent to Golden palace. But stay away from the Munna Tour n Travel agent 🕵 in front of Jamindar palace tea stall. A man of false commitment .

It was an excellent stay at DTDC Guest House, Puri. Location, room type, cooking person etc all superb. Must recommended if you are planning for Puri and want to avoid crowds. Then plan and book it.

DTDC guest house is value for money... you can have well furnished room with AC drawing room , multiple balconies , all kitchen utilities like utensils , fridge , microwave , gas , 32 inches led tv , good cook , clean area...free car parking .... All at just Rs. 500/600 per day per room...We took 2 rooms , so got a 2 bhk flat with all facilities. Only cons is ..it is on 2nd floor and no lift. This much pain is nothing for the price...
