This is the head post office of Sivasagar district. It is near the district court and shiva temple as you can find on Google maps. Various facilities has been provided here like speed post, PLI, ENQUIRY, IPO, MONEY ORDER etc. I am giving this 3star because lot of improvement can be done from service to furniture.

Main branch of indian postal service in Sivasagar, Assam. Old and crowded building. Stuffs are not so professional and behave you like a normal "sarkari babu". Basic amenities like paste, drinking water, toilets are not available. Also seating chair for elderlies not available. Their rates are cheaper though than the private currier services.
