Siliguri H.P.O was established in1968.Situated in a very crowded area.P.M.G.North Bengal office is situated behind the HPO main buildings The H.P.O. opens at 7.am for postage stamp sale only ,All sorts of posted activity,such as Deposit and withdrawal,Register and E.Parcel,Opening of various A/cs.Philatally.Commemorative Postage Stamp and envelope are available for noticeboard post.and also for sail.Has Wheel Chair access and arrangements of sitting inside the main buildings.A big Sorting table is there for 47 warded of this metropolitan City.Treasury Building of Govt of west Bengal is at a stones through distance from H.P.O.Speed Post Service is a prominent window for all varieties of article starting from ordinary volume to hundreds of k.gs.Pension Payments to Sr.Citizen is a n important service of Siliguri Head Post Office (H.P.O).

Wish I could give a 0 or minus review. They don't give the consignment number and they expect us to collect it from the post office. The delivery man has no patience to wait for 2 mins. After the failed first attempt to deliver they expect us to collect it from the office itself. Don't know why the government service all over India is so pathetic.
