I have register a speed post on 28 Feb 2022 from Gwalior. but today its 27 March 2022 the item is not deliver yet or any update. what a pathetic condition for the speed post in Imphal. Why do not they try to deliver on time? The number given on the web site just rang but no one pick up. This not the first time it happens to me.

The services of this office has really improved a lot, they are functioning properly, helpline call picker and the postman that delivers in my area are really polite , just one problem that is delay of delivery , if the office can notify a parcel delivery is gonna delay then the customer won't be worried! And last thing please don't mark parcel delivered when it not not yet received by the customer! Tracking website indicated that my item was delivered but it came next day!

Wow! What a pathetic service! Horrible experience with this lady sitting at the post office savings counter. First she turns up late to work, at around 10:30am and has no clue what she is doing. Does not even know how to verify KYC details and starts creating a ruckus and started yelling at customers for stating the fact that her service is bad. Worst is the deputy post master also, sitting there all throughout the ruckus and did not even try to sort out as to why she was yelling at the customer, instead he asked us if we wanted to close out savings account. Neither she nor the deputy post man are qualified to do the job they have been assigned.

They stole items from my parcel. The parcel's weight was 11kg while sending from Pune but in Imphal it was reduced to less than 2kg. And the staff absolutely don't take any responsibility. This is the most horrible, pathetic & malfunction post office that I've encounter in my life. I think the employees working over there are all illiterate & careless. They don't seem to value anything about the customer and the parcel received at their office. I'll give one prime example of how pathetic they are working at the so-called Imphal Head Post Office. I was supposed to receive a speed post parcel within 3-5 business days but what they'd done is just amazing. The destination post office is Moirang S.O. and once they received my parcel at Imphal post office, they sent it to Moreh post office. I mean, the address was written clearly on the parcel. So I haven't received my speed post parcel and it's been 12 days. So basically no value sending through speed post which cost me extra bucks. I'll take a moment here to educate them on some facts and information. MOREH & MOIRANG are two different towns in Manipur. MOREH is under Tengnoupal district & MOIRANG is under Bishnupur District. PIN CODE of MOREH is 795131 PIN CODE of MOIRANG is 795133 So what we learnt is that there are a bunch of illiterate & careless people who aren't working efficiently, don't know how to identify the digit in the pin code. Big question on their employment and how they got the job and still how they're working over there. Funniest part is I've also wasted my time writing this review which is not gonna make any impact on them.

This is my complain to Imphal East, post office , lamlong branch regarding careless response from staff who had neglected our SSA deposit yesterday and ask us to come today (Saturday) for deposits. Accordingly we had come today again for the deposits but till now the door is not yet open. Due to doubts, I personally queried yesterday that tomorrow is Saturday and won't there be any problem in opening the office, the particular staff replied, there will not be any issues we will take deposits on Saturday. Leaving all my other important works aside I had come today again waisting time and fuel during this pandemic. Such reckless and careless staffs should be taught a proper lessons on how to deal with customers in future. Really the worst ever postal service.

Wasn't allowed entry as I was wearing shorts (half-pants). The Manipur Police who were looking after the entry of people told me that people need to wear long pants as per their "dress code". Upon hearing this, I was surprised because the dress code they were talking about only applied to the staff that works there, not the general public (customers). I then requested to see their so-called "protocal", but after they heard me ask this, they were dumbfounded and remained silent. I'm highly upset with the manner the police made up a rule on their discretion and caused trouble to the people. Especially to the ones who had to travel long distances. The concerned authority should look into this matter as soon as possible. Otherwise, it's only a matter of time until someone takes legal action.

Most of the people who have been served satisfactorily are giving their feedback due to which the ratings in the google is shown very poor. Yes, 100% good can be achieved when there is 100% satisfactory. There are of course cases where many parcels are received in abstracted condition at imphal. All of them happened during transit especially those coming on surface. We really feel bad about it. One way to protect from such abstraction is to send all valuable parcel as insured parcel. In such cases, even if the parcel is abstracted, you will get the insured amount. Due to pandemic, the HO is having lots pendency due to which timely delivery is not possible despite all efforts. Due to non-playing of public transport, most of the staffs who depend on public transport could not attend. Besides, many of them are in the containment zone due to which they are not allowed to move out. During the pandemic, delivery speed is also slow as recipients takes lot of time to receive their articles in the name of SOP. As such articles supposed to be delivered in a day is taking 2 days or so. Due to COVID 19 more than 5 people have been died in the second wave. Manipur postal department may be the only department which requested to exempt from curfew so that we can open 6 days and serve the people. Despite several request we are not considered as an essential service department. Nevertheless, we admit that we are lagging in many quarters and lots of scope to improve in our dealings more than service. We do value every review comments and will put every possible efforts to make the department a customer friendly and satisfy all esteemed customers. Thank you all.

As usual horrible experience took only 2 days from delhi to imphal but even after 4 days the parcel is yet to be delivered in bishnupur which is 30 minutes drive from imphal...all these employees are self proclaimed kings...i simply cant understand the head of this post office...

I used to send parcel through Speed Post. Things reached Kolkata with 2/3 days. But from Kolkata to Imphal take lots of time( Sometimes more than 10 days) 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Is the Head Post Office really functioning or half death functions service. And when parcel to other city like Delhi, Bangalore,Mumbai Chennai, Aizawl, Shillong Kohima' etc. Service are so fast... Why Manipur? Why Imphal?. After Kolkata theres no tracking ... What's wrong. Please look into this matter sometimes let's build up better service to improve quality service.
