It's a Sub Post office of NIT region. It offers many services such as Letters and parcels, Post office savings bank, Money order, Express parcel Post, speed Post, Postal life insurance, Business post, International Money transfer, Bill collection and e-post services. The counter services are not speedy. It has a differently abled friendly ramp to enter inside.

It's always better to have India Post account rather than any bank account. No charge for opening an account. Minimum balance 50 ! Interest rate 50 percent more than any bank. Provides ATM card with which you can withdraw money from any ATM. Gets activated in 24 hours and within 2 days will get the passbook too. The India Post NIT branch is 200 meters from highway. Near by SBI, BSNL and REC GHSS Highschool. Parking space available. Wheelchair accessible entrance available. Very friendly and helping staffs. Nature friendly surrounding.
