Very poor service and customer harassment. I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding a recent incident involving the refusal to accept Rs. 2000 notes during the delivery of my parcels from Nykaa via Delhivery. As a valued customer, I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention for further clarification and resolution. On May 20, 2023, I received a parcel from Nykaa via Delhivery with a total value of Rs.12,000. However, I was informed by the delivery personnel that they will not accept Rs. 2000 notes as payment, citing internal guidelines. Although I was surprised by this refusal, I made an online payment to complete the transaction. To my surprise, the same incident occurred today i.e., May 22, 202,3 when I received another parcel worth Rs. 12,000. Once again, the delivery personnel stated that they will not accept Rs. 2000 notes, reiterating their internal guidelines, which nobody is aware of. I hereby request an explanation on this. Is your company above RBI? Given that the existing Rs. 2000 notes are legal tender until September, Nykaa and Delhivery need to ensure consistency and compliance with government regulations. I would like to request that appropriate measures be taken as these kind of self-imposing guidelines are causing us inconvenience and harassment. Next time you come up with these irrational ideas do come with a notice.
