Why my package is delayed when transit details showing that parcel in my near delhivery branch since 21 july. And my package delivery was 21 july.

I have a package that needs to be delivered, but i gave US Contact number without seeing it. But in the mailig address i gave the india number. it shows the package will be delivered in few days but on the delivery day it shows the package is unavailable due to unavailability of code. I'm not sure what excatly that means and also i want to try to contact them using india phone number. but they will accept only calls with the contact number. So there is no way i can reach out to helpline.It's so frustating. It's better to restrict the contact information should be india number or they should support the calls even from the another phone number.

its my 2nd time i am facing problems with delhivery this time my order is out for delivery from three days and whenever i call delhivery executive they cut the call

Courier executive in the concerned area is careless,they provide delay in delivery dates even after courier reached in my area.
